Precision Pistol, previously called Bullseye or Conventional, Is a traditional target shooting discipline. First contested in 1904, it remains essentially unchanged over the years. At PMRPC, competitors fire at paper targets, one handed, at 25 and 50 yards.

50 yard targets are “slow fire”- 10 shots in 10 minutes.

25 yard targets are “timed fire”- two strings of 5 rounds each fired in 20 seconds, and “rapid fire”- two strings of 5 rounds in 10 seconds.

We shoot a 900 match (three each of slow, timed, and rapid fire targets) every Saturday at 9AM. Any pistol caliber is permitted, except centerfire magnums.

Additionally, after the 900 match we shoot auxiliary matches on various Saturdays, including  Centerfire 900,  Harry Reeves Revolver, open sight only, Snubby ( less than 3-1/2 “ barrel centerfire), Fun Match, and Air Pistol.”
