Benchrest Pistol/ Hunter's Pistol Sight-In

Repeats every year 1 times .
Saturday, December 23, 2017 - 9:00am

"Benchrest Pistol," sometimes referred to as "Hunter's Sight-In,"  is conducted at the 100-yard/200-yard Benchrest range.  It is the only time that pistols can be be fired at distances of up to 200 yards.

This is not a match, it is an informal shooting event supervised by Range Safety Officers that follows club safety rules and special rules for this event.  Most shooters use Thompson Center-type pistols, with or without scopes, but other pistols may be allowed at the discretion of the RSOs conducting the event.

Most shooters are very impressed with the accuracy of these firearms. We welcome members who would like to come to an event and see what we do and try out our equipment.  There is no charge, just good safe shooting fun.

We conduct our event once a month on most months. The fun starts at 9 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m. We only use about one-third of the range, so the rest is still open to other shooters,
