Level II Defensive Carbine

This course will teach you the basics of tactically employing your self-defense carbine/rifle and your defensive handgun together as an integrated close-quarters battle self-defense system.

You will learn . . . how to move from cover to cover while engaging multiple targets; . . . how to transition from the carbine/rifle to the handgun and back; . . . how to transition from strong hand to support hand; . . . and while handling multiple malfunctions and disabilities or incapacitations.

Course Objectives: Instill the broader fundamental skills required to safely employ the self-defense carbine/rifle and a defensive handgun, and survive in a self-defense shooting in close quarters battle.

Course Requirements: Valid current concealed weapon license and successful completion of Level I Defensive Handgun Course, AR15-/M16-type carbine or rifle (or approved alternate), carry or tactical sling, 5 high capacity magazines (20 to 30 rounds), magazine pouches or tactical vest, 750 rounds of ammunition, handgun (automatic pistol or double-action revolver), 3 magazines for automatics or 2 speed loaders for revolvers, rigid holster (no cross-draw or inside the pants holsters, or cross-draw tactical vests), magazine or speed loader pouch as appropriate, 150 rounds of handgun ammunition, eye and hearing protection, suitable range clothing, and other miscellaneous items detailed in the registration form.

The fee for club members is $140 and for non-member guests $150.
