Clinic Fee: PMRPC members – $15 / non-members – $20 includes Practice Match. Lunch if desired – $6
Meet at the 600 yard range pole barn
Sign-In: 7:45 a.m. Clinic begins at 8:00.Program including match, to run till about 1:00 p.m. Followed by cookout at pole barn – hot dogs & brats, chips & sodas
Preferred rifles to bring: M1 Garand, M1A, 1903 Springfield, M1917, other domestic or foreign military rifle up to .30 cal.
Allowed rifles: Any safe center fire rifle up to .30 cal., including AR 15’s
*Rifles are to be encased and have an open chamber indicator
Ammunition: Bring a minimum of 35 rounds. There will be .30 cal. M2 ammo available for purchase to those who need it for the match, at a cost of .50 per/round
Bring water & lite snacks
Shooting gear – Bring eye & ear protection, and whatever gear you have for position shooting at 200 yards. Sling, glove, mat, coat or sweatshirt, spotting scope & stand, etc. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything, there will be some equipment available to borrow.

History of the Civilian Marksmanship Program
Types of vintage rifle matches and local, regional, and National Match opportunities
Discussion of various rifles including:
Semi-auto – M1 Garand, M1A, M1 carbine, AR 15
Bolt action – 1903 & 1903A3 Springfield, M1917, Mausers, etc.
Match scoring & pit procedures
Firing line commands
15 minute break, then regroup at the 600 yard line for demonstration and dry-fire practice
Conclusion of clinic, and squading for match.
Relay 1 goes to the 200 yard firing line and relay 2 goes to the pits
Match is 35 round CMP Course A format, consisting of:
1st Stage – 5 sighters and 10 rounds for record – 15 minutes
2nd Stage – 10 rounds rapid fire prone from standing – 70 seconds
3rd Stage – 10 rounds offhand/standing – 10 minutes
Cookout lunch to follow match
