CMP GSM Rifle Match Program
Garand/Springfield/Vintage & Modern Military Rifle
CMP Vintage Sniper Match following the GSM Match
- Matches are held on the first Saturday of the month*
- Registration/Sign-in begins at 7:30 a.m.
- Followed by squadding
- Safety briefing at 8:00 a.m.
- Firing begins at 8:30 a.m.
- Cost: $15.
- We will use the Club’s electronic scoring targets. Please bring a tablet capable of connecting to a webpage by IP Address, with 4-5 hours of battery life. A phone will work.
Match will follow CMP Course A format 35 rounds fired at 200 yards
- 1st Stage – 15 rounds slow-fire prone (first 5 are sighters) – 15 minutes
- 2nd Stage – 10 rounds rapid fire prone from standing. – 80 seconds
- 3rd Stage – 10 rounds slow fire standing – 10 minutes
As Issued Rifle Categories:
- Garand
- Springfield – 1903 & 1903A3
- Vintage Rifle – Includes US Krag & M1917 and vintage foreign military bolt rifles
- Modern Military Rifle – US made AR 15 fixed and collapsible stock, M1A, etc.
Competition is open to any eligible competitor. All competitors must have a notarized CMP “Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Agreement” on file at PMRPC, or present it at time of match registration. A copy of the form can be found here: Affidavit and Liability Form CMP

Award Pins – Gold/Silver/Bronze will be given to competitors who fire qualifying scores
Completed score cards will be forwarded to the CMP and results posted online at: Results
